The STEM Stars are at it again! We Are the STEM Stars is a coloring and workbook about four friends who love STEM. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. In volume 2, A Need to Survive Treasure Hunt, the STEM Stars go through a lesson to determine what are the needs of plants and animals. A school mate yells out that only humans need water and so the adventure of STEM begins. Their teacher, Ms. Bee, guides them with tools for understanding. Tools used are a T-chart, comparison charts, and STEM terms. What's unique about these books is that you can color but you are also given a STEM lesson if you choose to read from beginning to end. Created with children ages 4-9 in mind but any and all can enjoy the STEM Stars!
