We Are The STEM Stars is a coloring and workbook about four friends who love STEM. The STEM Stars have a dilemma. They need to play the music for the school play but all of their instruments are broken. They seek out their artistic friend, ZZ Artist, to help get some instruments together in time for the show. STEM becomes STEAM!! The STEM Stars create instruments out of items around the classroom and items that you might have at home. In this book, the STEM Stars take you through the process of P.O.E. which has the children predict, observe, and explain about the investigation. The STEM Stars also use a Frayer model to help understand what sound is and what sound is not. Comparison charts are also used for more understanding.
